CMB Erectors Completes Food Grade Expansion for Massilly in Brantford

Brantford, ON – June 23, 2023 — CMB Erectors Inc. has successfully completed the steel erection for a 40,000 sq. ft. food grade warehouse expansion at Massilly North America’s facility in Brantford. The project marks another milestone in CMB’s growing portfolio of high-spec industrial builds across Ontario.

The state-of-the-art expansion features a full SB10 roof and wall system, a full-height interior liner package, five 18’ x 5’ strip windows for natural lighting, and an expandable rafter endwall. CMB’s team executed a complex full-bay step connection to the existing structure, reinforcing it to withstand additional snow load—a critical consideration in the building’s long-term performance.

Additional highlights include the seamless integration of a parapet wall connection and a custom block wall mechanical room. Inside, the facility offers 45-foot clear heights, designed to accommodate tall racking systems and abundant finished material storage in a temperature-controlled, food-safe environment.
